Harrington Moran Barksdale Incorporated (HMBI) is a minority-owned Management and Marketing firm incorporated in the state of Texas in 1993. The principals have been involved collectively in asset management, project development, real estate financing, and government housing programs for over forty years.

HMBI was founded to provide multifaceted consulting services designed to bridge the gap between government and private firms.

During recent years, HMBI has expanded its vision to include the utilization of its management expertise to become one of the country’s premier firms specializing in the management and marketing of foreclosed single family homes.

Currently, HMBI is providing property preservation services on client portfolios that total over four thousand properties in 31 states. These services include inspections, clean outs, and miscellaneous and routine maintenance. Previously, as an M&MII contractor to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, HMBI’s staff of professionals successfully managed the sale of 60,703 homes and the production of 51,836 initial property inspections and 859,140 follow-up inspections. HMBI has a dedicated management team with many years of Property Preservation, Maintenance, and REO Management and Marketing experience.























Currently HMBI and its affiliates provide property preservation and maintenance services in 21 states. Additionally, HMBI and its affiliates have support personnel stationed in the states of Washington, Nevada, California, and Arizona.  Under previous contracts, from 2004 through 2010, HMBI provided Property Preservation, Maintenance, and REO Management and Marketing (M&M) services under the HUD M&M Contract (“M&MII”) in national contract areas covering Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Virginia, and West Virginia.
